The Labrador

used for retrieving game, they have also made their mark in the world of
guide dogs, a sniffer dog for drug and arm detection and of course the
perfect family pet/companion.

loving nature and a confident air.

Our puppies
are born and raised in our family home to ensure they are well
socialised and familiar with all household noises. Each
puppy has a helpful puppy pack complete with all relevant
papers, KC registration forms, Five Generation Pedigree, Diet
Sheet, 4 weeks free insurance certificate, helpful hints and
tips and a free sample of Puppy Food, together with a
comprehensive health record of worming/flea treatments carried
out by the breeder. We can microchip your puppy for you (I am a
qualified microchip implanter at a small additional cost) and
your puppy is given a thorough health check by our veterinary
and also the 1st Vaccine at 7 weeks. We recommend the 2nd
vaccination is carried out at 10 weeks of age once the puppy has
had a chance to settle into his/her new home.
Our puppies
are cared for and loved from the instant they are born. We sit
with the mother as she gives birth (whatever the hour may be!)
and help her throughout the whole experience. The puppies are
fully weaned by 6 weeks and we spend a great deal of time
getting to know each puppy so we can advise customers of
personalities and temperaments. The puppies are socialised
with our grand children and with our other pets - and so we
pride ourselves that the puppies we rear are ideally suited to
homes similar to our own.
We like to
ask all potential customers various questions regarding their
desire for a Labrador and request a photo of their garden to
assure us that the puppy will have the space and safety it
needs. We insist that puppies go to homes where someone is at
home for the majority of the day to care for, train and
supervise the puppy. Customers are asked to enter into a Puppy
Contract with the breeder - giving both parties peace of mind.

We do not deliver
pups to purchasers or sell direct to Pet Shops/Stores. Any
prospective purchaser must visit our home, whilst viewing the
parents/puppies; we too vet any customer for suitability for breed, and
commitment.
Please note; Homes where the puppy is to be left alone all day are
unsuitable, as the puppy will require company, affection, house-training
and exercise. It will be necessary to have a fully-fenced garden, please
do not rush
into anything. Buying a puppy is a big commitment; please think
very carefully before reserving a puppy, as a puppy is for life.
